In loving memory of Linda Winston, a devoted mother and unwavering supporter of her children’s pursuits, we proudly announce the Linda Winston Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship honors her enduring legacy of encouragement and dedication by recognizing two outstanding student-athletes at Lumberton Senior High School.

Linda Winston was a fierce advocate for her children’s dreams, always present to support them whenever her health allowed. Her son, Corey Winston, built a long-standing and successful career in wrestling, and learned life long lessons that helped him to be successful in life beyond the mat. Today, as a Lumberton Senior High School wrestling parent and active supporter of the wrestling program, Corey seeks to honor his mother’s legacy by empowering student-athletes through this scholarship. Application opens May 2026
